As a final year student on BA Criticism, Communication and Curation, I took part in the Central Saint Martins Degree Show Two 2016.
A group of 50 students collaborated to create The Crit: Lounge; which offered a new and unconventional approach to the sometimes hectic environment of the show.
Through specialised, student-led tours, visitors were invited to enjoy an alternative view of the projects and themes on display as well as an insider’s take on the College itself.
Crit:Lounge was a curated decompression lounge designed by the students, was open to the public, offering a space for guests to relax, unwind and discuss the work on display.
I worked within the Events Team developing guided tours for the public, in particular ViewFinder which took visitors to various spaces within the Granary Building to provide alternative views of London, and explore the history and development of KX.
