An installation combining found objects, drawing, and photographic images; weaved together by narrative texts. The artwork is about the layered experience of place. It draws on a dialectical relationship between the city and the sea. Each element is used to evoke different landscapes, seascapes and dreamscapes. The images and objects from everyday and domestic spaces are given a new language and mystical qualities through their presentation as valued possessions; which is intended to make the audience see their own experience of place and relationship to the land and sea in a new way.
